* Manticora will be supporting power metal legends Helloween and Gamma Ray on the first show for their joint-venture US tour "Hellish Rock", which will take place on September 25th in Atlanta, GA, as part of the ProgPower USA Festival. This exclusive show will be the kick-off for Manticora's US tour alongside Circle II Circle and Jon Oliva's Pain.

* Jon Oliva’s Pain, Circle II Circle, & Manticora will team-up for the first leg of the North American “Global Intrusions” tour this fall. This marks the first time that Jon Oliva (Jon Oliva’s Pain, Savatage, Trans-Siberian Orchestra) & Zak Stevens (Circle II Circle, ex-Savatage) have toured together since their days in Savatage in 1999.
"Wow, it's certainly been a while since I have been able to get back on the road here in America...it must be snowing in hell. It's going to be great touring in support of what I consider one of the best records of my career. We really pulled out all the stops for this one. Touring with Zak and the Circle II Circle guys is going to be a treat as well, especially for Savatage fans. We've got a few tricks up our sleeves so don't miss out as it may never happen again. Looking forward to seeing all of you soon” said Oliva.
Stevens adds, "It's always special to perform on the same bill with Jon Oliva, especially here in the States! Obviously Jon has been a huge influence on my musical career and I remain one of his biggest fans. This tour will be a special event for all our fans that have enjoyed our work throughout the Savatage years and now into the new generation of Jon Oliva’s Pain and Circle II Circle music."
Manticora's Lars Larsen states ""For us, this is a great opportunity as we now get the chance to start in Europe with Oliva and then finish the party in North America with one of our biggest inspirations."

* Circle II Circle vocalist to do special gig at ProgPower USA September 24th 2008: "Join us on Wed night for a special acoustic set from Zak Stevens. Zak will be accompanied by Mitch Stewart of Circle 2 Circle on guitar/keys. Just as Jon Oliva did last year, the set will be composed of songs from Zak's entire career along with a few surprises."

* Message from Astral Doors: "In agreement with the promoter of ProgPower USA (Glenn Harveston) as well as our management (Intromental), we have decided to turn down the offer of playing at PPUSA in Atlanta, Georgia this year. The reason is simply that we have to do some more European touring in 2008 before going to USA, and thus our economy won't allow us to make this trip yet. Instead we've made the great deal with PPUSA that we'll perform, come hell or high water, at the festival in 2009. Thanks to the promoter for helping us make this hard decision much easier for all concerned."

* The US tour for Circus Maximus/Manticora has been cancelled, as Circus Maximus has chosen to do the European tour with Symphony X at the same time.
* Circle II Circle will be playing an exclusive pre-release show at The Local in Marietta/Atlanta, GA on February 02nd.

* More dates for the North American Circus Maximus/Manticora tour has been added to the "upcoming concerts" schedule.

* It is with extreme disappointment and reluctance that we must announce that Circle II Circle will not be participating in the previously announced North American tour scheduled for the spring of 2008 with Circus Maximus and Manticora. Due to reasons beyond the band’s control, the new album, “Delusions of Grandeur,” will not be released to coincide with the tour as previously planned. Intromental Management, AFM Records, and Circle II Circle have agreed unanimously that it would be in the band’s best interest to focus all resources and effort on completing the new record and properly promoting it prior to touring. While we cannot announce anything at the moment, we are beyond excited at the potential tour partners for the band both Europe and North America in 2008.
The previously announced North American “working vacation” will continue as planned with Circus Maximus stepping up into the headline slot and a third band added to the opening slot. Expectations for both bands on this tour are completely realistic. However, they are dedicated to getting out on the road in North America, spreading the word, and performing special, exclusive sets for their North American fans. A revised tour schedule will be released in the immediate future.

* We're really proud to announce that we have 4 (FOUR!!!) bands confirmed for ProgPower USA Festival September 26th and 27th 2008 in Atlanta, Georgia. The 4 bands we have confirmed are: ASTRAL DOORS, JON OLIVA'S PAIN, PATHOSRAY and SPHERIC UNIVERSE EXPERIENCE. Other bands confirmed to play are Riverside, Iron Saviour, Elvenking, Andromeda, Serenity and VolBeat.

Jon Oliva's Pain is the latest artist to join forces with Intromental Management's new North American booking agency. The band will embark on a select city North American run in early 2008 with an eye towards a full tour in the fall.
North American Promotional Director, Glenn Harveston, states, "I'm obviously thrilled to be working with one of my heroes. Savatage may be on hiatus, but the Mountain King is alive and well. It's time to get him back out in front of the fans here in North America and continue his legacy."
